Awarepreneurs Community Guidelines
Welcome to Awarepreneurs! We are honored that you are here.
Please read these guidelines - we are a diverse and dynamic global community. These simple guidelines keep us functioning with an awareness of this.
The mission of Awarepreneurs is to support conscious social entrepreneurs in growing their businesses, their well being and their social impact.
We have 7 Guidelines:
1) The Facebook group is a bonus offering of the Awarepreneurs membership community. Information about that community is here.
2) Our basic rule is RESPECT. We have quite a diversity of members in terms of culture, gender, training, background and orientation. Please be mindful that your worldview and training are not the only ones represented here and share accordingly.
3) Please don't just dump your offerings or content into the discussion. Every Wednesday, there is a post that states SHARE YOUR OFFERINGS and every Thursday we do CONTENT LOVE THURSDAY. Posting a comment on these threads are always appropriate ways to share your services, products, blog posts, videos, articles and the like. Other than these threads, we ask that you only post services, products or content if you are asked to by another member.
3) Facebook has clear terms of service. Posting things in the Awarepreneurs group that are against these terms is not allowed.
4) We ask all of our white community members to listen to this episode of the Awarepreneurs podcast titled Why Do We Talk About Racism So Much in Awarepreneurs.
5) About deleting threads/comments. We ask our members to be very mindful about the emotional labor that goes into the conversations in our community. When you delete your thread or comment that has other people's responses, you are making the choice to disappear the work of others and take their wisdom away from the community. Please be mindful of this labor.
6) As a social impact & deep dialogue oriented community, we talk about hard issues at times. Our founder (Paul Zelizer) reserves the right to ask any member to have a private dialogue about their participation in the community and the impact that it is having. We ask you to be willing to participate in good faith in such a dialogue when requested.
7) We reserve the right to remove any member who refuses to follow these guidelines at any time.
